Beautiful and rare rectangular slab with colored decoration showing Madame de Sta�l after Fran�ois G�rard's painting (1770-1837) in a Restoration-style costume. She has a turban in her hair and a lavender dress and a cameo on her chest. She is draped in an orange stole. She is holding branches.

Pair of big baluster-form handle with acanthus leaves decorated with human-faces medallion supported by grotesque masks and golden palm leaves, gilt neck and base. Polychrome decoration, two Cossak riders on a mountain and palmtree background. The base and neck are decorated with colored � Indian flowers � on a black base.
