OLD MASTER 19th CENTURY PAINTINGS

The old master 19th century department, directed by Thaddée Prate, includes three specialties: 1500-1900 drawings and prints, Old master paintings and paintings from the 19th century.

Concerning Old master's and 19th century paintings, Tajan organizes with the Turquin-Mauduit- Duchemin expert's office six annual sales of which two prestige sales in June and December.

During those sales, the different schools from the Renaissance to the end of the 19th century , were shown to the collectors: French, Italian, Northern and Spanish Schools.
