BHV Marais & Tajan – Successful Appraisals & Auction

For the second time, Tajan has set up shop at the BHV Marais! This is an opportunity to have unique pieces appraised by customers of the department stores’, Tajan or anyone else wishing to appraise a work of art or precious object, with a view to an unusual auction. The BHV has called on the expertise of Tajan to offer its Parisian customers a unique experience: the opportunity to have personal items such as works of art, precious objects, collections or bottles of wine and spirits appraised by auctioneers and experts.

On 19 June at 8pm, the finest appraised lots were put up for sale at an auction organised under the dome of the BHV Rivoli. It was a unique opportunity to discover exceptional pieces in this unusual setting, and to acquire them during this unforgettable evening. Among the top bids, a 1930s Puiforcat housewife sold for over €45,000* after a fierce bidding battle. A splendid automaton watch, a Swiss work circa 1900 and particularly elaborate, sold for nearly €6,500*, while a vase by Lalique fetched over €3,000*. This new edition inaugurated the sale of bottles of wine and spirits, with a Cognac Tuileries from 1805 going for over €1,700*.
