The Wine & Spirits Department has curated an extraordinary sale of 4,200 bottles, 700 lots of wines from our French regions that will elevate your festive season.
Let’s start this sale with spirits, with a fine collection of Vieil Armagnac from Jean Cavé, with old vintages ranging from 1918 to 1937. A fine range of Whisky and a fine assortment of old Real Companhia Velha Port from 1944 to 1970 complete the offer. For foreign wine lovers, the Napa Valley region will be represented by Harlan Estate and Opus One.
We continue our journey through the Champagne region, which is well represented in this sale. A large collection of prestigious Champagne cuvées is featured, including Cuvée Cristal by Louis Roederer, Grande Année by Bollinger, La Grande Dame by Veuve Clicquot, La Grande Cuvée by Krug and Dom Pérignon. And for champagne lovers, we discovered a rare bottle of Champagne Peters from the 1995 vintage.
Let’s continue our journey through Burgundy, focusing on white wines, with a fine selection of bottles from some of the region’s finest producers, including the highly coveted domaines: Dauvissat, Raveneau, Louis Latour, Domaine Roulot, Domaine Deflaive, Sauzet, Coche-Dury, Domaine Leroy. These are wines of exceptional quality in very good condition. In red Burgundy, we have rare wines from Domaine de Romanée-Conti (La Tâche, Echezeaux, Romanée-Saint-Vivant) and numerous bottles from renowned vineyards including Domaine Roumier, Dugat Py, Armand Rousseau, Mongeard-Mugneret, Groffier, Bouchard Père & Fils.
Our stopover ends in the Bordeaux region, with magnificent Sauternes wines to accompany your Christmas dishes, notably from Château Yquem, Climens, Suduiraut, Coutet, Sigalas-Rabaud and Rayne-Vigneau of old vintages.
We have also assembled a fine range of red Bordeaux for you, including a set of 6 bottles of Petrus 1998 (rated 100 by Parker) and Caisses Duclot 1996, 2005, 2012, 2013, 2019. We will be auctioning wines from the great Bordeaux châteaux: Lafite-Rothschild, Margaux, Latour, Haut-Brion, Cheval-Blanc, Mouton-Rothschild, Ausone, La Mission Haut-Brion, Cos d’Estournel, Pavie, Lynch-Bages, Pichon Comtesse, Pichon Baron Longueville, Ducru-Beaucaillou, Figeac, Montrose, Léoville-Las-Cases, Vieux Château Certain, Branaire-Ducru. You’ll also be able to bid on large-format wines, including 1 impérial (6l) of Léoville-Las-Cases 1976, 1 Jéroboam (5l) of Cos d’Estournel 1990, a double magnum of Château Margaux 1993 and one of Mouton-Rothschild 1978, a magnum of Petrus 1995, several magnums of Lafite-Rothschild 2000, 1994, 1 magnum of Latour 2000, 1 double-magnum of Haut-Brion 1989.
It is important to note that the bottles are presented almost exclusively in original cases and boxes, making them ideal for prestigious end-of-year gifts.
