Tajan is one of the leaders in the fine wine and spirits auction market and has been presenting the most prestigious wines and champagnes from France and around the world for several decades, whether for tasting, cellar building or investment.
International buyers are increasingly participating in the success of our sales and appreciate the quality and impeccable provenance of our selections from private cellars. In keeping with our commitment, on March 9 2023, the department will not only sell starred bottles but also bottles that are affordable to all wine lovers.
For instance with lots 45, 46, 47 and 48: 6 bottles of Vieux-Rhum, Trois Rivières from 1964, 1969, 1977 and 1979 estimated at 250 to 300 euros per bottle. There are also prestigious vintages of the Champagne region with the Clos des Goisses de Philipponnat which comes in several vintages 1999, 2003, 2005, 2007 estimated from 130 to 200 euros the bottle (Lots 162, 163, 164 and 165).
Leaving the Champagne vineyards, you will find some rare gems including 1 bottle of Corton-Charlemagne, Coche Dury 2015 estimated at 5,000 to 5,500 (Lot 183) or 3 bottles of Meursault, Coche Dury 2013 estimated at 900 to 1,000 (Lot 182B) or Lot 191, 1 bottle of Grands-Echezeaux, Domaine de la Romanée Conti 1955, from the cellar of Mr. Rostropovich estimated at 6,000 to 6,500 euros.
We will also present an exceptional series of original wooden cases (Lots 423 to 432) from Châteaux Lafite-Rothschild, 1° cru, MARGAUX, 1° cru or Mouton-Rothschild, 1° cru of the mythical 1982 vintage.
Finally, we invite you to discover crates of the Duclot Collection from the 2002 (Lot 513), 2007 (Lot 599) or 2008 (Lot 600) vintages.
