This attractive spring sale brings together just over 160 lots, including a family collection of 19th-century jewellery of aristocratic provenance, several pieces of Van Cleef & Arpels jewellery from the Alhambra collection, both vintage and contemporary, and a magnificent Boucheron evening bag from the 1950s.
Many other nuggets are to be discovered, such as an exceptional and rare “griffes” watch bracelet signed Sterlé in “special order” gold from the 1960s (estimate €10,000/20,000).
The centerpiece of this family collection is a superb drapery necklace of multicolored gemstones (estimate €6,000/8,000) such as amethysts, citrines and green beryls, all set in finely chased gold arabesques.
