PRESS RELEASE

Regine

Regine

The French icon of the Parisian nights is making her comeback and has decided to part with her wardrobe and some souvenirs for our greatest pleasure!  Régine, who at 82 still keeps her 20-year-old form, has some gems hidden in her closets.
Some evening gowns but also some stage costumes designed by Sonia Rykiel, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Azzedine Alaïa and Emilio Pucci, to name a few, will be auctioned off at Tajan on Saturday, February 4, 2012. A portion of the proceeds from the sale will benefit Habitat et Soins, a non-profit organization that provides decent housing to the underprivileged population.
In her heyday, the singer of P'tits papiers headed a multimillion dollar nightclub empire spanning three continents and was internationally known as the “Queen of the Night” with her exclusive parties drawing high society, royalty and movie stars. Her extraordinary life is reflected in her collection of stage costumes and evening dresses that fashionistas looking for exceptional couture and vintage clothes can have a chance to own on February 4.
