    Carl Bergsten, est un important architecte suédois. Une des ses premières réalisations, bel exemple de son travail Art nouveau, fût notamment la conception des deux principaux bâtiments de l'exposition à Norrköping en Suède en 1906 . Il fut inspiré par la Sécession Viennoise et le séjour qu'il avait fait à Vienne en 1904 où il avait pu renconter Josef Hoffman et Otto Wagner. Pendant de nombreuses années, il fût le directeur du NK's département mobilier. Il réalisa le mobilier du Pavillon Suédois lors de l'Exposition des Arts Décoratifs de Paris en 1925. Puis, en 1928, il réalisa la décoration intérieure du M/S Kungsholm.
    The architect Carl Bergsten (1879-1935) has an important place in Swedish interior design. His first big realisation was the two main buildings and the plans for the Jaktpaviljongen, at the exhbition in Norrköping, Sweden,in 1906, where he introduced his special art nouveau style. He was influenced by the "Vienna Secession" after a visit in Vienna 1904 where he met Josef Hoffman and Otto Wagner. For many years Carl Bergsten was the director of NK:s furniture department. In 1925 he made furniture for the swedish pavilion in Paris and in 1928 he made the interior decoration and furniture M/S Kungsholm in the Swedish America Line. The most famous building is Liljevalchs in Stockholm from 1916.
