- Notes: Thème à rapprocher de Guy Delmarcel, La Collection Toms Pauli, Cat 21, pp. 68 & 69, cite " les peintures du triomphe de César d'Andrea Mantegna (1482-1492), conservées à Hampton Court Palace (…) les porteurs d'argenterie et de trophées sur la sixième (toile). L'emprunt est indirect, très probablement fait par le truchement des xylographies d'Andrea Andreani publiées en 1598-1599 ".
