- Notes: Historique: Le modèle de chaise fut créé en 1927 pour le salon de lecture du Musée d'art et de Design à Copenhague. En 1929, il reçut la médaille du Grand Prix lors de l'Exposition Universelle de Barcelone. C'est ainsi que ce modèle reçut son nom, bien que l'éditeur le nomma lui "Red Chair" de la couleur du cuir qui recouvrait l'assise et le dossier à l'origine. This Kaare Klint chairs were designed in 1927 for the lecture hall of the Danish Museum of Art & Design in Copenhagen. Shortly thereafter it took the Grand Prix medal in the 1929 Barcelona world expo thus acquiring the name of the "Barcelona" chair, although it was actually referred to by the maker Rud Rasmussen, as the “red Chair”, due to the golden reddish color of the Niger leather that they were upholstered in.
