plateau miniature de jeu de go, reposant sur quatre pieds, en bois laqué, finement décoré en hiramaki-e or, argent et noir, avec rehauts de feuilles d'or, sur fond nashi-ji, de fleurs de pivoines et rinceaux feuillagés, le revers en laque mura-nashiji.
Le jeu de Go fut créé en Chine par l'empereur Yao, durant la période Zhou. Il arrive au Japon à la fin de la période Asuka (VIIe siècle).
