    Notes:
This model is to be compared to the three-legged DCM chair in the collection of the Royal Museum Victoria and Albert in London. It is described as follow : "This chair is one of very few prototypes which were created at a time when Charles and Ray Eames were experimenting with moulded plywood. Various processes were tested in order to achieve a successful design, one that was inexpensive and utilised industrial technologies that had been developed during the war. This design was not put into production due to problems of balance and stability. A four legged design was then introduced and put into production."
