Tajan pioneered the comics auction market in 1996 with its first dedicated sale. Since then, we have always believed in the potential of this fascinating universe, with its undeniable links to childhood and the inventiveness of its authors.
In our auctions, you will find works by some of the greatest historical comic strip authors, including Franquin, creator of the famous Spirou and Fantasio, the mischievous Gaston Lagaffe and the dashing Marsupilami, Hergé, Uderzo, father of Asterix & Obelix, and Hugo Pratt, author of Corto Maltese. We also support the work of authors from the 40s and 50s, such as Philippe Druillet, Jacques Tardi, Enki Bilal, Moebius and Serge Carrère. Finally, we support the most contemporary creation by auctioning comic book pages by Alexis Nesme, Jérémy Petiqueux, Henri Reculé, Pierre-Denis Goux and Vincent Beaufrère.
If you would like to benefit from a free and confidential appraisal of your original comic strips, illustrations or figurines, we will be happy to come to your home free of charge, at your convenience, or to meet you at the Espace Tajan, 37 rue des Mathurins, in the 8th arrondissement of Paris.
