CHANEL SPECIAL ORDER – 2000S
LARGE “SPECIAL ORDER” SAPPHIRE RING
Set with a large cushion-cut sapphire held in place by four claws stylising intertwined shooting stars and entirely paved with brilliant-cut diamonds. Mounted in 18K white gold. Signed Chanel and numbered.
Gross weight: 19.78 g.
Finger size: 54.
Weight of the sapphire: 20.92 carats.
Dimensions of the sapphire: 17.25 x 13.22 x 9.53 mm.
GRS report, in its opinion: Pastel Greenish-Blue colour, Sri Lankan origin, no indication of heat treatment.

This ring is set with a large emerald-cut diamond in the shape of a large claw. The setting is in 18K white gold entirely paved with small brilliant-cut diamonds.

Diamond size: 17.36 x 12.60 x 8.81 mm.
Preliminary LFG examination: M colour, VVS2 clarity, no fluorescence.

THE ELUSIVE BEAUTY OF DIAMOND
The value of a diamond is not defined only through its certificate but must first be appreciated by sight. The “water”, the brilliance of a stone is unique and sometimes escapes the classification grids of color and clarity.
The value of certain stones, we think of those of type IIa, is often inexplicable as their beauty takes precedence over their certified qualities. The one we present here is undeniably part of this rare group, undoubtedly extracted from an old mine.
