From Stendhal, the first editions of De l’Amour (1822) (€2,000–3,000) and Le Rouge et le Noir (1831), in a fine binding by Huser (€6,000–8,000); a large-paper copy of the first edition of Gautier, Émaux et camées (1852) (€2,000–3,000); Verlaine, Poèmes saturniens (1866), here with a presentation inscription (€2,000–3,000); Proust, first edition of À la recherche du temps perdu (1913–1927), bound by Alix (€6,000–8,000); and a fine copy of Radiguet, Le Diable au corps (1923), one of 50 on Hollande paper, in a Semet & Plumelle binding (€2,000–3,000).
