Our upcoming online sale offers a journey through a century of decorative creation, giving collectors and enthusiasts alike a rich and coherent overview of the movements that shaped the history of Design and the Decorative Arts in the 20th century, from Art Nouveau to the stylistic boldness of the 2000s.

Among the highlights of the sale are glassworks by Daum, Gallé, and Lalique, emblematic of the elegance and refinement of Art Nouveau and Art Deco. The selection also includes ceramics from the 1950s, reflecting the inventiveness and optimism of the postwar period, as well as a group of Scandinavian furniture with clean lines that combine functionality and comfort. Modern lighting completes the ensemble, illustrating the evolution of forms and uses through to the end of the century.

Offered with attractive estimates, this sale aims to be accessible while maintaining high standards of quality, and is expected to appeal to both newcomers and seasoned design enthusiasts.

Mechanical sculpture in bronze with a two-tone patina, depicting a nude young woman with articulated arms,
holding a fold of her cape in each hand and revealing her nudity when the clasp securing it is released. Signed “C. Kauba” on the back of the base.
