The Asian Art sale on April 29 will showcase a remarkable selection of highlight lots, reflecting the richness and diversity of Asian artistic traditions. Among the pieces are a black lacquered iron Kawari Kabuto helmet made in Japan in the mid-Edo period (1603–1868), as well as an impressive large nine-dragon basin from the Qing dynasty, Qianlong period (1736–1795). A rare quadrangular casket from the Kingdom of Siam, Rattanakosin period, 19th century, will be presented alongside a large Chinese incense burner from the late Ming to early Qing dynasty (1644–1912).

The ensemble also includes several refined Japanese works, such as a four-case inrō in mother-of-pearl inlay and lacquer, another 19th-century inrō, and an important figure depicting Raiden, Futen, or the King of the Oni. China will be further represented by an elegant celadon-white nephrite jade pendant from the early 20th century and an imposing standing figure of the guardian Vaishravana from the Qing dynasty. This selection vividly illustrates the dialogue between power, spirituality, and artistic virtuosity across Asian
