Auction on March 26, 3pm
On the occasion of the Impressionist & Modern Art sale on March 26 organized by Tajan, several highlight lots illustrate the richness and diversity of 20th-century artistic creation. Another major work, Le Château et la Seine, les environs de Vernon, Normandie (1973) by Bernard Buffet, oil on canvas, demonstrates the artist’s characteristic graphic strength and carries an estimate of €100,000–150,000. The remarkable Portrait de Germaine Everling, circa 1942–1943, by Francis Picabia, oil on cardboard, estimated at €150,000–200,000, further enhances this prestigious selection.
